The EnGenius SN-Ultra-AS Antenna Splitter is designed for compatible EnGenius DuraFon and FreeStyl cordless phone systems. It splits the antenna signal from a single base unit between two external antennas, helping distribute wireless coverage across separate areas of a building or facility. This can be useful in warehouses, offices, and commercial properties where walls or other obstacles affect cordless phone reception.

Connect Two External Antennas

The SN-Ultra-AS allows compatible base stations to connect to two external antennas through a Y-style splitter. It features reverse-thread TNC connectors and includes approximately 1 meter (3 feet) of low-loss coaxial cable for connecting the splitter to the base unit. Compatible external antenna kits are sold separately.

Important Signal Consideration

Splitting the signal introduces signal loss, so using two antennas does not automatically double wireless range. Strategic antenna placement can help extend coverage into areas that a single antenna may not reach effectively. EnGenius recommends using no more than one splitter per compatible base unit.
